WWK Insurance Group hosted the first "kgs Meet Up" this year on March 14, 2019. The long-established company outlined its path away from the cluttered legacy archive to the lean approach of kgs to those in attendance at its central headquarters in downtown Munich. Special feature here: Only a small part of WWK's applications consist of SAP. This is a good example of how companies can use the Web Service to connect non-SAP systems to the Content Server via the standard ArchiveLink© interface.
kgs makes archives intelligent. Under this guiding principle, Benjamin Schröder, Head of Development & Support at kgs, shed light in his presentation on the direction in which kgs is currently pushing its archive solutions. He explained how companies can use the new HawkEye product to intelligently distribute content to any storage system and monitor and control it cost-efficiently. Another customer, Stadtwerke München, presented to those present how they work with the kgs SAP archive on a daily basis.
The meet-up also offered plenty of opportunity for intensive networking between customers, interested parties and the teams from consulting, development and sales at kgs. The series of events will be continued.
