Neu-Isenburg, January 18, 2024 - As part of this year's IT-Online Conference, KGS Software GmbH and Sebastian Lemke from the capital management company Aachener Grundvermögen will show why a hybrid archiving concept facilitates the transition to the cloud. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. - registration is now open.
A project that Aachener Grundvermögen has now implemented as part of a realignment shows that the transition from the old SAP world to the new one does not necessarily have to be rocky. Instead of tearing down bridges, the company initially took a two-pronged approach and took its time to ensure that all data and document flows were aligned in such a way that they would still function as soon as the company switched completely to archiving in the Azure cloud. The modern CMIS technology and the expertise of the kgs experts helped the capital management company to achieve this. The company has thus laid a stable, legally compliant foundation for all upcoming process changes and is well positioned for the future.
Sebastian Lemke (Aachener Grundvermögen) and Benny Schröder (kgs) present their approach, their project motivation and the challenges that had to be overcome in the webinar "Like on clouds into the cloud: How does hybrid archiving pave the way to the cloud?". Among other things, they will show SAP archiving via ArchiveLink in SAP ERP and how CMIS was used on BTP in Azure and deployed for the transformation to S/4HANA.
