kgs and SAP User Group Norway Announce Partnership

The archiving specialist kgs is set to expand its international activities in 2025, including a new collaboration with Norway's official SAP user group.

Neu-Isenburg, January 30, 2025 – Following the successful expansion of its presence in the UK through a user group partnership last year, KGS Software GmbH is now turning its focus to Scandinavia. The company has officially signed a partnership agreement with the SAP User Group Norway (SBN).

"In addition to our strong commitment in the DACH region, we aim to further solidify our international presence in 2025. We are excited to have found a strong SAP network in Norway with SBN. As part of this new partnership, we invite Norwegian companies — and anyone interested — to join our webinar on SAP archiving. We also plan to attend SBN’s User Conference in Oslo this October," says Johanna Zinn, Head of Marketing and Sales Development at KGS Software GmbH.

SBN is Norway’s official SAP user group, founded in 1998. Its primary mission is to help companies maximize the value of their SAP investments and solutions. The group represents 134 companies with approximately 6,000 SAP users, many of whom regularly participate in the annual SAP User Conference held in the fall.

As an initial introduction to the Norwegian SAP community, kgs and SBN will host a joint webinar titled "SAP Archiving – Checklist to get started." This webinar (EN) will take place online on February 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM (CET). It will provide insights into how SAP document and attachment archiving can be implemented.

Benny Schröder, Head of Development and Delivery at kgs, will highlight key considerations — from choosing the right technology and understanding legal requirements to optimizing hybrid archiving landscapes.
