Continued growth at kgs

July 16, 2020

kgs Software expands its team in spite of the current global crisis. Jochen Heybrock joined the company as Head of Partner Management in early 2020, and Stefan Sommer assumed the position of Head of Finance and Operations in May.

Jochen Heybrock (54) commenced work as the archive specialist’s Head of Partner Management on 1 January 2020. The Frankfurt local previously filled the position of Channel Manager at Siemens Industry Software GmbH, where he focused on managing the indirect business of the top-selling German sales partners. His tasks included annual planning and tracking of business objectives, adherence to sales targets, as well as coordination with the executive management, owners and partner investors.

At KGS he aims to significantly expand the indirect business and the company’s market presence across Europe and in the USA. “We want to be an absolutely reliable supplier that our distribution partners can count on 100%. We take the concept of partnership seriously since we believe that both parties should benefit equally and succeed consistently over the short and long term,” explains Heybrock. Toward achieving this goal, he will set out to strengthen existing partnerships and successfully establish new partnerships at kgs.

Stefan Sommer (55) has been leading the Finance and Operations team since 1 May 2020. Born in Wiesbaden and educated in Gießen, he brings extensive experience from commercial finance management positions held at medium-sized national and international companies to the table. His career has been consistently tied to companies active in IT-related fields. His previous position was with German IT solution provider URANO Informationssysteme GmbH, where he was Head of Finance and Law.

“Even though the customer relationships of kgs are highly successful, I still see ample potential for growth and dynamic developments. Naturally, my focus is on building and maintaining trusting cooperations at the commercial level. The way I see it, these form the backbone of a company’s sustainable success story,” says Stefan Sommer.

In addition to these two areas, KGS has also strengthened other departments in recent months: Aleem Malik, Onur Gezeroglu and Eren Dagasal have joined the Key Account Management team. The Development department has gained two new members, Maximilian Hesch and Steffen Kremsler. Philipp Geyer has filled the newly created position of HR Business Partner, and Professional Services and Support has welcomed Sebastian Goretzka, Julian Merbach and Benedikt Strittmatter into the team.
