SAP archiving via the new S/4-BC-AL 7.40 AP ArchiveLink interface for SAP S/4HANA

kgs has successfully had its SAP Archive Content Server certified by SAP for S/4-BC-AL 7.40, the SAP ArchiveLink interface for SAP S/4HANA. It includes the HTTP Content Server, OLE Frontend and Barcode BAP functions. Last fall, kgs had already achieved certification for SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management via the WEBDAV interface BC ILM 3.1 - the first provider on the market to do so!

The kgs Content Server is a high-performance archive that is specially designed to meet the needs of SAP archiving. It enables legally compliant archiving of data, print lists and documents via ArchiveLink as well as BC ILM. "This guarantees our customers that with kgs, they have a competent and innovative partner at their side when it comes to SAP archiving and document management."

In the S/4 HANA world, archiving will still be possible via SAP ArchiveLink or the WEBDAV interface BC ILM 3.1. With the Content Server, SAP users can manage and archive their SAP documents using either scenario, and both processes are SAP-certified. The new S/4-BC-AL 7.40 AP ArchiveLink interface has now been added.
