Webinar on current trends in document management
On Friday, July 30, 2021, the next webinar in the #FunFastFocus series from kgs will take place at 10 am. This time, the topic is the CMIS interface and its relevance for document management in SAP.
In recent months, the CMIS interface has morphed from a niche solution to a standard approach. Even SAP is already relying on this cloud-optimized interface standard. However, so far little has leaked out about the concrete plans being pursued in Walldorf with regard to document management, CMIS, ArchiveLink and the like.
In the webinar "DMS goes CMIS: Expert Talk with SAP", Markus Pipp, SAP Product Management - SAP S/4HANA, ECM, and Benny Schröder, kgs Head of R&D, provide information about the current status with regard to CMIS and SAP and show what changes can be expected in the future. The webinar offers an insight into the status quo around document management and archiving in as well as the future of CMIS. In addition, the technical infrastructure of kgs tia® will be presented and it will be explained why the early switch to CMIS technology is worthwhile.
